Volunteer at the NGO Reprise

Throughout the academic year of 2021-2022, I was a volunteer at the NGO Reprise.

I assisted with various tasks from helping with the development of the website, daily communication and administrative tasks to giving ideas for new product development and organising sewing workshops in the refugee centre. In the latter, we created bucket hats from donated garments and fabrics that we then sold on the self-developed Reprise webshop.

Since it was founded in 2021, the NGO has kept growing and offers a platform for people with difficult backgrounds to develop their sewing skills and find jobs within the fashion industry. There is an ongoing, close collaboration with Institut Français de la Mode.
